I haven't had the honor of sitting in an elise yet- I have size 13 sneakers- will I be able to drive the car?
I also heard that things down there are pretty sharp. Be careful.Lotus Nut said:Can i assume wearing 14s wouldnt work? Someone requested bare foot in another thread i think. When i get one, i might have to do that.
Not so fast - give one some seat time and you might be pleasantly surprised. Besides, when we used to work out at Pt. Mugu, there was a Tomcat pilot who owned a Corvette. The license plate frame read, "My other car is an F-14." I really, really want to see that plate frame on a Lotus. :up:zimm said:Well that doesn't sound too good. I wear steel toes boots to work (I'm a navy pilot). I'll have to go back to checking out the Cayman.
Thanks for the input though.
no way boots of any kind will work. I wear a 13 or 14, and have only one pair of shoes I can drive my 2006 with. With those shoes, there is no problem though.zimm said:Well that doesn't sound too good. I wear steel toes boots to work (I'm a navy pilot). I'll have to go back to checking out the Cayman.

Hmmmm.. I carry a briefcase over my shoulder, cellphone on my hip and sometimes wear a jacket to work, but I guess I shouldn't have the car either because I haven't figured out how to get into my seat wearing all that. I guess I need a Hummer.zimm said:Well that doesn't sound too good. I wear steel toes boots to work (I'm a navy pilot). I'll have to go back to checking out the Cayman.
