Tampa, Florida

For sale is my 2005 Lotus Elise. It is completely stock.

Good:
  • MWR cryo treated cams.
  • MWR cryo treated rockers.
  • Full paperwork on all maintenance done to the car from day 1, including it's window sticker.
  • New battery.
  • LSS wheels and base wheels included with the car.
  • Headlights have been freshly sanded and clear coated, they are no longer oxidized like in the photos.

Bad:
  • Front clam damage, usual scrapes but also a crack from hitting a possum, there is no damage to the crash structure behind it.
  • Sides (in front of the rear tires) have some wear and tear from rocks on the road being kicked up.
  • Has a harmless CEL due to the old battery dying in storage. The ECU loses the VIN which causes the CEL. It is documented on the forum but hasn't been annoying enough for me to fix it.
  • Branded title due to clam damage prior to my ownership. Nonstructural, seams are absolutely perfect. The car was reversed into in a parking lot.

Other info:
  • The headliner was sagging, so I removed it. There is still glue residue on the roof.
  • Prior to my ownership, the car was reversed into in a parking lot. The rear clam got replaced, and it looks excellent.
  • I have owned the car for about 4 years, there is no loan in it.
  • Factory optioned upgraded exhaust.

I will add more photos to better show the clam damage when the sun is out.

I'm selling the car because I moved to a new state, no longer have access to canyons to drive around in and lost interest. If it doesn't sell in the coming months, I will eventually pull the clam off and get it repaired prior to spring.

Feel free to let me know if my price is off but it seems fair given the mileage and perfect mechanical condition.

Hmmm..what's the interior look like? Do you still have a soft top? I have a line on a silver one out here for 25, but it is salvage/repaired from clam damage like has happened to a bunch of them. I do like yellow better.
