For sale is my 2006 Lotus Elise in British Racing Green. This car was recently totaled out by my insurance and I am looking to sell it to someone looking for a project car. The car was totaled out due to rodent damage. The extent is unknown. The clams were not removed, and from the conversation I had they didn’t make it past the engine bay before making that decision. Based on the conversation with the adjuster it sounds like his concern was the ability to get rid of the smell after completing repairs. The interior is untouched and features biscuit leather interior. No rodents were inside the interior. Last I checked the dash lights up, headlights turn on, but I was told the car doesn’t start due to the rodents getting into the alternator. Prior to this issue/at the same time, the motor started making a pretty bad noise, that has not been diagnosed. I have some videos of the sound for those curious.
The motor has a BOE Rev 310 supercharger setup. The motor issue occurred on start up, not while driving. 24k miles on motor and car. Prior to that, the car drove fine and other components like brakes tires and suspension were all fine. Air conditioner and heat worked. Car comes with soft top. Clams are in reasonably good shape but do have a small crack in the front and back. Nothing noticeable a few feet away.
happy to answer any questions.
The pricing is OBO. I had no idea where to price this and I’m very open to offers. I am located in Baltimore Maryland.

With elbow grease, ozone blaster and a lot of work you can get rid of that urine odor. Right now is the time for all members to think about using peppermint oil on the underside of your car and all around the outside. Mice will soon be heading indoors.

Alright finally home from work and I’m going to start reviewing the offers. As DannytheDonk said, I have 100+ messages to sift through. I’m pretty sure some or multiple are at list price, maybe above. I’m going to try to be fair and give preference to whoever offered first. But higher offers will be considered obviously. I’ll try to follow up with everyone as soon as I can. If anyone wants to dm me their offer to consider feel free.

I had been watching this on Copart, but then it disappeared a couple weeks ago, assuming you did the buy-back option from insurance. I'd be very interested in it if you have not sold it yet. (I'm going to PM you this as well)

Alright bit of an update for everyone, car is in my possession, but was damaged by copart. My insurance is trying to figure out how to rectify the situation. I have included some pictures below. Car is still for sale, but obviously this impacts things.
