Thank you Sir - I grew up in Springfield and we still have a family place at Table Rock - wish I got to spend more time down there and maybe this is a good reason to come down although a little late in the season for the lake and 4+ hours on the hwy in the Elise might test my wife’s enthusiasm

The drive from St.Louis isn't too bad. I had the motor of my old Elise replaced (under the recall) at the dealer in St.Louis. They sent an 18 wheeler to pick it up. We drove up in the Lexus to get it when it was done and I drove back from there. My wife drove her Elise back from KC when we bought it.

So, get her some ear plugs, maybe a foam seat insert if she complains on the lack of padding, etc. and plan a trip to Fayetteville. I'll put a note up in the events forum when our club gets the show flier finished. We are (or were, last I heard) still looking for a guest speaker.

 

Welcome! I live in Des Peres, which is just outside of the city of St. Louis. I picked up an 06 Supercharged Exige last weekend, so we'll definitely have to link up!!!

I think I saw you at Holman a couple of months ago when they had the Emira. Beautiful car! I got lucky enough that when I pulled in they ushered me through and had me park right next to it upfront. I'll DM you and we can exchange numbers and cruise around sometime

St. Louis isn't that far from Fayetteville. Our English Car Show, Brits in the Ozarks, is Oct 7. I guarantee there will be at least 1 Elise there.
