Got my CoP proof in email today.

The original body colour was Aquamarine metallic, Lotus paint code B138. The interior was trimmed with premium black and oyster leather. Optional extras were; Lifestyle paint, sport pack, sports ratio gearbox, premium pack (trim) and tech pack with backup camera. The car also had the distributor optional Star shield installed by LCU at the port in the US. The car was signed from production on the 9th September 2010. The car was exported to Lotus Cars USA who would retain any history once the car enters the US. Their records show the selling dealer was Lotus Motorcars of Long Island in Hunington Station, NY, who sold the car to a customer in Melville, NY.

The 2011 model year Evora for the USA market ran from serial number 0288 (June 2010) until serial number 2914 (September 2011) but this serial number sequence is shared between all Lotus models worldwide, so for clarification the following is based on serial number sequence and data available to date for the USA 2011 model year Evora normally aspirated models only;
Your car was the 191st out of 325 cars,
Your car was the 6th out of 7 cars in Aquamarine,
Your car was the 5th out of 6 cars in Aquamarine with black/oyster leather,
Your car was the last out of 2 cars in Aquamarine with black/oyster leather with the same options as listed above.

Loks to be a discrepancy in the number of NA Evora's in 2011.... Mine says 325 previously it was listed as 284 I think?
Moving targets??? ? Read post 177 correcting MY11 to 365 and post 178 with corrections to #177

Also found out from Andy that my Aquamarine is VERY rare!

Aquamarine was the joint 2nd rarest colour out of the 19 different colours made in 2011.
2010 was the only other year Aquamarine was used in the US with 7 Evora, 6 of them with black/oyster trim. There were no US Evora S in Aquamarine to date.

Julian, I wish you could sticky the updated info somewhere instead of buried in this thread. Mods, are you listening? Anybody who agrees, report this post so ?Doge will see it.

Bumping this thread in case new members don't know about it and the Lotus service. Purchase of the Certificate of Provenance is not expensive in the grand scheme and helps you document your special vehicle.

Anyone have any stats? I have a 2013 Evora S with IPS, would be interesting to know the breakdown.
From my certificate of providence
2013 U.S. sales
27 evora
42 evora ips
26 evora s
76 evora s ips

Mine is the only ardent red with the factory Black pack:coolnana:

Interesting demographics. If Joe buyer wants an automatic he wants it with a SC, but if he wants a stick shift it's just give me an Evora either type.

The emotional need for the stick is stronger than engine type. The danger of reading the market from purchase decisions rather than from customer survey is that product supply may have made the decision for the buyer. 25 more sticks of each NA and SC may have shown total of 52 SC s sold while NA sales declined to 16, or vice versa???

Some good info. Just got this from Andy Graham at Lotus:

The 2012 model year Evora received revised interior as well as other revisions. All the
information below refers to the USA market only. The Evora ran from serial number 0146
(November 2011) until serial number 0855 (July 2012), but this serial number sequence is
shared between all Lotus models and all markets, and the US 2012 model year consisted of 1 Evora manual, 90 Evora IPS and 54 Evora S. The following is based on serial number
sequence and data available to date for the USA 2012 model year Evora S models only
(excluding the 14 GP edition cars);

Your car is the 33rd out of 54 cars,
Your car is the 2nd out of 3 cars in Velvet Red,
Your car is the 1st out of 2 cars in Velvet Red with Ebony black trim (the other car had Cognac),
Your car is the only one in Velvet Red with Ebony black and the same options.
Velvet Red was a new colour for 2012, including all US Evora variants there were 7 2012MY cars, 4 2013MY cars and 6 2014MY cars. None of the other years (2013,2014) had an Evora S in Velvet Red with black leather; they either had SuedeTex® or Cognac leather.

Yes and I received my Certificate information this last week and ask for
additional Evora information.
My 2011 Titanium/Black Package
Was 162nd out of 325 cars built for U.S. 1st out 4 cars with Titanium /Black done in U.S.
241 Evora's were U.S cars in 2010..
325 Evora N/A's and 80 Supercharged U.S cars for 2011
The total Evora Cars 2010 - 2014 world wide 3462 and 1222 for U.S.

To those of you on your Certificates of 2012 to 2014 Evora's.
Should be total U.S. cars N/A & Surcharged on your Certificates.
Would like to see each year U.S. totals ..

And looks like one posted total numbers for 2013 as 171 total U.S Evora's.

So just need 2012 & 2014 totals.

Just got mine. Will post when I scan. MY11 S. Last of the 80. Only S in starlight black with suede tech and red stitching. Very special car indeed.

2012 and back figures are in here, I think I posted a table. Too soon for 2014 results probably

You are lucky, they must have been practicing for the GP run made in December 2011

How is this different than the window sticker?
Because it has all the specific build characterists as well as the stats on the build for that year. It's just nice to see all of that information in one place.

Pretty cool stuff. Now gotta figure how to keep it. Don't have a man cave (or garage) so frame and hang isn't a great option.

Of interest for Chrome Orange fans and Canadian owners

I just got the final version of my certificate from Andy at Lotus. Quite interesting information...no wonder why I never see an Evora here in Canada...so rare! I certainly recommend to all of you if you haven't done so.

North American chrome orange car owners, here's what I learned. My car is C25 Chrome Orange after all! My dealer thought it was a different orange. Andy's explanation is as follows:

We did change the paint process back in late 2010. What they did was change the tinting process; hence the colours appear different in different lighting. The earlier cars have B prefix to the paint code, i.e. B25 and you had the base colour coat, then a tinted clear coat with the metallic pigments. The new Cromax Pro painting system with C prefix, i.e. C25, the metallic pigments are in the base coat, with a clear coat over the top. In simple terms the metallic pigments are no longer in the top coat, so do not reflect as much light making the car appears darker.

I also learned that I would have the only Evora S C25 Chrome Orange with factory black pack ever produced for North America (my dealer was right on that). There would also be another one in the US but it is a 2011 Evora NA for which the black pack was applied by Lotus but in the US, not at the factory. Does any forum member own this 2011 Evora NA? Obviously, these stats don't reflect any after market modifications.

Here are a few stats related to Canada:

- The 2014 model year Evora models only consisted of 2x Evora NA, 1x Evora NA IPS, 8x Evora S (mine was 6th of 8th), 4x Evora S IPS

- For cars in Chrome Orange, there is 1x 2010 Evora NA (painted with the B25 lighter tone), 1 x 2011 Evora NA and 1 x 2011 Evora S and my car which is a 2014 Evora S with black pack

- There has been only 2 Evoras with optional black pack ever produced for Canada, mine and a 2013 Evora S in Solar Yellow

- The 2015 model year saw the introduction Sports Racer models with black pack as standard. To date, there are 7 Sports Racer available in grey, blue and one in toxic green (there's one of each at Gentry Lane leaving 4 grey or blue for the rest of the country).

Canadians, do you know in which city the other Chrome Orange Evoras are and where the Solar Yellow with black pack is?

I don't know who has the only 2011 CO Evora NA where the black pack was applied by Lotus in the US, not at the factory.

But, I think I know who in North America has the only 2011 Chrome Orange S 2+0 with Cocobolo ;)

Don't know where it ended up, but the 11 CO Evora S was sold by John Scotti Lotus in the early part of 2012 I believe, because it was marked sold by them shortly before I committed on mine, and I had given brief thoughts on the CO.
