I am looking for recommendations on whom to use to consign a 2005 Lotus ELISE in Phoenix. Does anyone have suggestions of reputable dealers or brokers whom I can contact?

I'm sure you would have no trouble selling it on your own. Take a few pics, post it in the classifieds section here and see how it goes. I considered consignment but here I made 30% over what they offered me.

Completely agree with your suggestions, but I am not located in the same city as the car and would not be able to show the car to prospective buyers, therefore consignment came to mind...open to other suggestions.

I know this still doesn't answer your question about consignment selling but I also agree that you could probably sell it remotely, especially if it is in good condition. So many people buy their Lotus long distance that a lot of good photos, verifiable records, and (most importantly) good communication go a long way.

Both me and my son bought our cars (an Elise and an Exige) remotely from California, and we live in Wisconsin. It was never necessary to touch the cars as long as we had really good and honest communication. Both cars were delivered exactly as represented.

I bought my Evora on a consignment sale from British Racing Group, LLC I would recommend reaching out to them as they can handle logistics and all the inquiries and such. However, I would just list it on here and on a few mainstream sites. Be willing to take a few calls and obtain photographs and find a shipper and you shouldn't have a problem going into summer. There are a lot of first time Lotus buyers looking for an 05 Elise right now
