Cure for power socket pop-outs

Acquired a Euro power socket adapter from the Escort radar site. The $2.50 part does a reasonable job of holding my V1 plug in, whereas before it would pop out on every other pothole. The fit could be tighter, but for $2.50 it seems worth it. During a test drive the V1 "L" light never went out.

I recommend first attaching the adapter to the V1 plug and not the Elise's power socket, else the V1 plug won't make electrical contact.

I never realized the Euro sockets were larger. This 'splains why the extension I bought won't stay plugged in. Thanks.
