Dimples from adhesion points on body?

Hello,
I've noticed some "dimpling" in areas such as around the headlights and on the buttress on the body. I believe these are from mounting/adhesion points? Is this correct? If so, is there anything the can be done about this? Or does basically every car have this issue?

I think I know what you're talking about. My friend's 06 has noticeable distorted areas that outline the headlamps and a couple other areas on the front clam. It's really obvious under artificial light. I'm guessing it's from where those parts are bonded to the clam. Mine does not have the marks. As to what you do about it; I'm not sure. I would think you would have to have the clam sanded and refinished to hide the marks. It's definitely weird.
