Does YOUR quicksilver sport exhaust sound like this

Pretty close. Mine sounds a little louder, and it's unfortunate that they didn't taking it back down through the gears or lift so you can hear the burble. They also didn't take it to redline so you couldn't hear it scream.

Ditto what Surfer said. Its louder than it appears in that video. They only hit the cams once and it didn't sound like they ran it up to redline either.

And the burble and pop sounds when you're off throttle decellerating is glorious.

The sound is very much that of a high-strung exotic. Just yesterday I had a new mustang who was trying to bait me into racing him. With him behind me, I got an opening in front of me and wailed it up to redline, then lifted so I could her it pop a bit. The Mustang gave up at that point and just came up beside me holding his hand to his ear, obviously wanting to hear more.

Its a very serious sounding car. If you don't mind loud exhausts, you'll just love it. Its my favorite mod.

I would love to save weight with a lighter exhaust, but I don't want my car to be any louder than it is now. Someday I will cave and buy a lightweight exhaust and a test pipe, I suppose. Maybe when the rest of my hearing has gone...

So, I wonder how many of us it would take to make this marketable. I'd like an exhaust that is lighter than stock, same or less dB, same or more HP.

TO the company that markets this, I say:

The Arqray costs more, doesn't it? How much, and can you do it yourself? Finally, the Arqray changes the look of your rear end pretty dramatically. I'm not judging it good or bad, just noting it. The QS tips looks different, that's all, and the Stage 2 tips point down, not back, a very minimal change.

I'm guessing this will get removed from the forum, but I'll bet the Quicksilver can't match the tuned resonance ambiance of this baked bean enhanced "fart can" ?

You bet correctly!
Arghh. I hate missing out on a joke. :wallbang:

Cost more...?? Shinoo should have more definite pricing soon. You can do it yourself, at least Shinoo and I did. The single tip does change the look and it's not for everyone. So I know Shinoo is working on some other solutions from Arqray that look like the QS (tips coming out the bottom of diffuser) but better build quality and nicer sound (perhaps no droning)... stay tuned.

Sounds good, Neil. When I say it costs more, I mean I bought the QS for $600+ and put it on myself. What does the Arqray cost? I assume you can do it yourself.

I drive mine with QS everywhere, everyday. It's my daily driver. My neighbors don't like it much, but tough sh*t. Bunch of judgemental housewifes with husbands who look yearningly at my Elise while they pile into their minivans. hahahahahaha

I haven't gotten any complaints from my neighbors about the QS. I had one neighbor say one night as he was walking his dog that he hated me! He was joking of course. Another said that I had the coolest wife because she let me have the Elise.

I did have my neighbor across the street tell me the Elise "added a lot of class to the neighborhood!" :)
A neighborhood kid told me that the Elise is the coolest car in the neighborhood
(350Z next door, 911 across the street, Viper down the street). His buddy quickly corrected him and said that the Elise "is THE sickest ride, period!"
I never get tired of this stuff. :D
