@RapidLotus I remember you stating a few months ago that you thought all Evija's were spoken for after Lotus tried to sell me one. Looks like they are starting to pop up (pre orders) on ebay of all places. Compliments of Lotus of Dallas.

Very interesting! It will be interesting to see the reaction from Lotus Corporate. I doubt the idea was to have dealers buy them and resell immediatly for a huge profit. The dealer would loose their license to sell if this was a Ferrari!

It looks like a regular ad.it says they are taking deposits to order one and the price is $2.5m. Isn't this exactly how Ferrari works? That's why they are always sold out of a model before it's even in production. The sale is to the dealer. Ferrari doesn't prevent the resale from the dealer, but from the end buyer. That was my understanding. And that was only certain models.

It does look like a regular ad but supposedly all 130 cars have already been sold to individuals, not dealers. This ad sound like there are unsold cars. I also thought it funny that they want a $500 deposit within 48 hours. I put more down on a pickup truck. But then they want full payment within 7 days! I know that they are a legitimate business but it still seems strange. They are showing it on their website. https://www.earthmotorcars.com/earth-motor-cars-lotus-of-dallas-texas.htm And listing it on eBay? That is really a joke!
