I wonder what Radford is doing since they’re shipping cars with the same powertrain but bumped up to well over 500hp.

Really I’m curious about both the engine and trans. While 2GRs are obviously beasts, it’s a different thing to be selling cars as a mfg with more power.

I believe it was mentioned in some article that they're working with JUBU on their powertrain options. They specifically mentioned the DCT, but it's possible they're also working together on their 6MT too.

I would bet Redford is simply allowing JUBU to do what they do. If the owner wants 500HP the engine gets worked over just like what’s listed on JUBU’s website. I think their 470 kit gets headers vs the lower HP kits.

i wonder if all Redford cars use the OEM lotus ECU or if they use JUBU’s plug n play evora ECU, I would hope plug n play ECU

Just a side note...but I dig JUBUs exhaust options with the heatshields...so well done.

Checking back to report on my KT435 tune. 23,000 miles on the clock, about half of those with the tune. I have a GRP CAT delete, AFE filter and that's it. No transmission issues. Clutch friction point feels unchanged. I don't do digs, racing starts etc but I definitely work it out. When driving for fun I am usually in the torque rich area of the KT tune, between 3500 and 6K. With tight Tennessee backroads I can't often use all the speed, but I ride the torque and it's fun to squirt out of corners. Everything feels tidy. Got an annoying inside the dash noise/clunk that comes and goes but the running gear is holding up to considerate but enthusiastic use and the rest of the car feels good. The tune is a great long term success from my point of view.

We've tuned many 400/GTs now from Stage 1, 2 & 3. The 500hp Stage 3 kit is wicked. None of our clients have suffered any issues with their engines or trans.

I just had my Evora GT tune with Stage 2. So far is working good. Thank you Shinoo!
BTW Im working with Brent to iron out some issues. So far great experience and the easiest upgrade by providing the Powergate OBD2 SW and adapter. Easy to do on my own and I get the upgrades and adjustment from Brent in minutes! And the process to do it all by using the Powergate app is very easy!! Keep up the good work. The only thing needs to be added is the ability to give you all data details and save the logs after a run this way we can tune it perfectly without requiring a Dyno.

Hello Shinoo,
I'm not seeing your Evora Tunes under the Evora tab or anywhere else on your site? I'm probably missing it somewhere simple...
I agree. @shinoo where are you hiding the other Evora tunes?

owns 2006 Lotus Elise
I'm not knowledgable on this topic beyond knowing that the transmission as delivered is not rated for the kind of torque the motor can produce when unleashed. If MWR has a solution that actually makes it more capable of handling added power (as opposed to 'only' altering gear ratio) that would be nice but I'm not aware of such a modification. BRG's advice into ask them is probably the fast track to an answer.
Hey bro! Quick question about your Evora. I am looking to do the same thing to an evora gt get it around the 460-475 hp range to compete with the c8. Hows it going for you reliability wise? and you are pushing low 3s on your 60s? Appreciate your time in advance

No problems whatsoever, have around 18K with the tune. You wouldn't know it's tuned except for the added power and torque. As for 0-60, I've never timed it but I'm sure it will do sub 4s. I tend to lean on it for the midrange thrust and don't do first gear pulls with clutch dump as it's my car. I rarely run to out in first TBH. I'd expect if you do clutch dumps and a lot of first gear pulls you would wear clutch and transmission components a lot faster than I am willing to abide.

Same here. I do enjoy the added HP and Torque. I used an app that was showing me 506hp and 414tq but I cant verify the numbers until I do the dyno. dropping the clutch, I only did it once to see how fast it is and according to my test and app also got 0-60 in 3.561. But my clutch smoke very badly for 2 days!! so I'm not trying that again:cautious:. Rolling start from 5mph+/- it does 4.3 according to my app. Again this is not really accurate until is verify with the dyno which is coming soon:cool:
