I have to say, the backseat element is huge for us. My 6 year old daughter has been in it a ton, including driving to 2 Logs so far…

Yes indeed thats the intention. I only just got it back after having it down most of the driving season for deer strike related repairs so, between the family schedule and such, I'll likely only have 1 opportunity to get it out this year. Would like to do so more regularly next year.

Super curious how you even managed to get a car seat into the backseat... mine are those 3 stage ones that are these mega bricks that you can barely fit through an SUV door...

 

My 5 year old is in a high back booster. He's properly comfortable in there. The 3 year old is in a WAY-B Pico. It doesn't seem very comfortable compared to most car seats, though he's never complained.

Getting the rear tether into this car (not sure if it's different on the series 1 cars) is an enormous pain, and it doesn't work with all car seats because the anchor needs to be very small to fit over the bar that is used to loop the tether over. The normal seats I use in the other cars didn't come close to fitting. Leg room is great behind the passenger. I'm 5'-11. I don't sit in my normal position with the kid behind me, but it's comfortable enough.

 

Love that color. Now I'm tempted to trade in my Golf R since you proved the Evora is a family car

Great car! Same goes for me - sold my Exige en bought an Evora 400 purely for practical reasons! Love to have such a nice car and be able to take the kids around.

 

Purely practical!! (goofballs, both ) Also, why I can't have an Emira.

 

I've fit two fully grown people in the back seat. They probably weren't comfortable, but their car had died and I was giving them a ride.

 

Next stop massages or chiropractor.....

When I'm not driving them in the Evora and don't want to be boring in the Volvo, I drive them around in a Mitsubishi Delica. Tried my best to make a minivan interesting too

I was going to buy an M4 for this exact reason but now you have reconvinced me the evora may work. I have a 3 and 4 year old. They make really slim car seats now that could work.

 

Go for it! We only have so much time with them comfortably fitting back there, so it won't be a forever family car. M4 can come next!

Buddy of mine puts his older kid in there. She weighs enough and, because it's so small back there, the belt fits her perfectly without the booster. It might not satisfy the regulations in your jurisdiction, but if the weight is high enough and the belt fits properly...
