Pulled these off a bimmer forum. I like the floor. I had to snicker a little because they had a norcal sightings thread. You would need to drive with an abacus in the bay area. "192 sightings on my way to work" Easier to count the cars that aren't BMWs. rotfl

Post #603 looks like a poured floor
@RacyTracy, thanks for your help. I think its something like that.

@V-RAPTOR, i`ll come back with better pics :)

@Rodewaryer, in all european countries you have to put both plates
on your car. so your solution is much better. In austria its not allowed to put
the front plate behind the window. Some cars dont have special places for the
front plates, like Ferrari Enzo. In such cases the owners use self-adhesive
sticker-plates somewhere in the frontend of their cars.

yeah i was surprised too at first when i took delivery of the seven. i didn't think you could get much smaller then the elise. i can't drive my seven until i get it inspected on the sixth, so i can't really compare them. i do know the sound is alot louder then the lotus. that may be because the exhaust tip is only two feet from ears though. the exhaust sounds a lot deeper and less restricted. the intake is very loud too. the footwells are extremely small which made me get some new pumas, but the seats are actually very comfortable. you also sit on the ground pretty much, you can easily touch the ground when your driving.

i love your ginetta by the way. there is one that always comes to the cars and coffee meets around here and it sounds wonderful. i would love to drive one
I test drove the Ginetta that ended up in MN when it was for sale here in FL. It was much more finished than my car, but had a few more miles / stress cracks. I made a deal to buy the silver car and take the minilite wheels off the white / red stripe car. The description of your seven sounds very similar to my experience of driving the Ginetta. Lots of deep noise from the very close exhaust, small footwells, etc... I really like the color of your car. One day I hope to have my Ginetta resprayed. Probably go for a bright silver with a blue stripe or something. You definitely have to drive defensively with that little car. People just don't see you when they are used to soccer moms in their huge SUV's. Anyway, if you ever head down to NC / GA mountains for a drive let me know. I am always looking for an excuse to go for a long weekend driving trip! Plus, that would give you a chance to drive the Ginetta in its favorite environment. The biggest upgrade I have made was switching my tires to some Falken Azenis RT615 in 205/50-15 size. Love 'em!

The three Italians are nice, hope the garage is too.

The Service Station garage, (last of the three tagged with Hotrodders.com) is sure sweet but seems like a lot of trouble for a two car (maybe 3). Room for lifts maybe?

Now that there are two Lotuses in the garage. hopefully I'll feel more compelled to get to work on it.

This is the tidy end of the garage.

And this is the "other end"

First chore: Build a garden shed to get all that junk out of the garage!

From the Exotixboard, and, I'm not sure I've seen this one on here before but if this is a double post, apologies.

Mostly Italian here but note the pic on the wall in the upper right. :)

It's not much but now I have a Lotus in the garage. It's so low I can probably reconfigure the lift, might allow the door to go over the Sunbeam and fully open instead of the compromise I'm dealing with now.

I used to grin a lot when I went out to the garage, it's pretty much everytime now. :)

What's that in the far bay ? Looks interesting.

It's my crew chief's ride - (it actually scoots - 8mph) - he's having lunch now, helping my finish up on swapping the wheel bearing and then a braided clutch line in the Esprit today.
