The canadians on this forum will have a good laugh at my plate

It's the worst swear word in French (Canadian French only). It's a versatile word like the F word where it can be used as a verb, noun, adjective etc... In this case it represents an expression of awe, like "Holy sh**" Still no complaints from the DMV. It's fun for the handful of Canadians in the bay area, they get a kick out of it.

   TABARNAC!! BEST PLATE EVER!

That word, upon being uttered... was the ONLY time my dear old mom laid a hand on me (being the proper Québécois she is!) Je t'aime beaucoup Maman!

She'd kill me if I ever did it though... still... the temptation is   :D

hehehe, yeah, my mom refused a ride in my car when she visited because of those plates. ha!

:)

"Holy sh**", eh!

I am still working on mine.
I have a clever idea and it is available in CA but it may be a little over the top.
We'll see.
My other ideas for the CO Exige were already taken:
HMS 111
VRM VRM (my wife refers to the car as her vroom, vroom)
AGT ORNG
AUD8OUS

I am still trying to decide what my plates should be (I gotta get something...)
Should I go with:
MS ELISE or MZ ELISE
or (but this one may be asking for it)
ILVTRBL

Any suggestions, comments? I'd really like to get something clever, but in CA people have taken most of the ones I've been able to think of...

I like your last one. You could also go with I@TRBL, where the @ would be a heart symbol you can get on the specialty plates. An Elise or an Exige is the kind of car that just has to have a vanity plate, imo.

I agree with the earlier posts about putting the name of the car on the plate. Should be something with more character (TABRNAK...yeah, baby!) or more personal. For me..."WHT PLME".

Blonde1, you wouldn't happen to be an orange grower would you. You're from Florida, your car is orange and your plate is "PEELN". Too bad you couldn't get an orange on your plate instead of a fish.
No, but I have a key lime tree in my yard. Close 'nuff? ;)

Since ya asked, I actually design roads for a living.

I could get an orange with the standard Florida plate but then it would be, oh, the standard FL plate, and that just didn't seem right. I figure if folks don't get it as-is, I'm happy they're behind me. :)

I've been thinking of (PLEASE don't take this for yourself!):

LSISMOR
or
LOOOOW8

Can anyone decipher the first one? If so, great, but I'm concerned this may be too nebulous....

LSISMOR = Lotus Sport is More
or
LOOOOW8 = Low Weight

:D

LSISMOR = Less is More - just kidding about the other answer...
