Rear round tail light panel installed, now in dire need of a wash!

Think Im gonna have to get rid of the faux CF license plate frame now too..
Very nice.
I've heard through the grape-vine that your car is Spectacular from those who have met you.

Painting white letters on your tyres is still out of fashion in the UK but it's essential on a 1981 Turbo Esprit, but only if it reads Goodyear!

Good point. Where do you source the Goodyear NCT over there?

Folks over here have been out of luck for years now.

Adding a pic, to stay on topic

The G model will always be very special to me.
I at first thought about purchasing one but after careful thought and having perpetual turmoil in my life I figured it'd be a lot easier to own a Stevens.
One day I hope to own one.
Karma sometimes takes a long time!
Nice G's Fella's.:UK:

Lovely Copper Bronze Turbo shot!

We can't get NCTs here either sadly, it's such an important part of the look of the early cars. Imagine an Essex car or a Bond replica without them? Sacrilege! Luckily my car has a good set on them but I won't find any more apart from very old, very worn sets on ebay. Fine for photos, no good for driving.

It would be great publicity for Goodyear if they made another batch, for starters everyone will want to ink the brand name in white! Let's hope they can be persuaded. Do you think there would be lot of interest over there? If so perhaps some sort of online petition might help. The car was painstakingly set-up to work on those tyres, it's the thing Lotus do best. Most here now switch to 225 section rears. Vredenstein are popular and at least have 'Giugiaro' on the sidewalls but they just don't give the balloon tyre look of the 235s.

Funny thing about that...my car was actually Jupiter Red. In person it looked similar to Atwell's colour than bronze, but in certain light, with likely incorrect white balance, I generated that first photo above.

The group shot shows it in it's true Jupiter red colour.
(near center, in photo. Atwell's is towards the back left, with yellow NJ plates.)

In the James Bond night scenes, the bronze looks very Jupiter-ish, actually.

Just the wheels but they are on the way! Full set brand new in the box!
