Perhaps I was just trying to extend tire life. Going around curves on two wheels didn't seem to prolong the life of the tires.

My Claret 88, ripped out the "rouched" interior & did the plaid. Not everybody's cup of tee but I love it. Showed

it to my buddy Van that I bought the car from and I thought he was going to faint. He was a gentleman & didn't say anything

Yes, very timeless design. My 97 still looks fresh and modern. Vettes aged, even the recent vintage. Masers and Lambos look too stylized to age well. Ferrari's generally have the same timeless feel except for the old font engined ones, beautiful cars but they look like antiques. I may be biased though, I wanted one of these since I was small and finally got it almost 25 years ago. I am not letting go.

It has been a long haul but my 1986 Esprit Turbo HCI is finally on the road. A true survivor with only 27,000 miles. There's still lots of sorting to do but it's drivable!

I spent yesterday cleaning our Esprit inside & outside in preparation for the trip to the Lotus Owner's Gathering (LOG) in Pittburgh later this week.

Just realized that our Neighbor's new shed complements our Claret-colored Esprit! 🤪

Great thread! Such beautiful cars that do not need any visual modifications. I think visual modifications actually make them look worse than factory stock. Not many cars that one can say that about!

An Esprit looks great in any colour but in a shiny black it does stand out. I love your house, I'm guessing it has lots of garage space.
