It is sometimes hard to find info about things on a really big forum, but I did try. I need some advice on the driver's seat.
The lovely woman in my life is 4' 11" and about 90 lbs. This is an atribute which I do not wish to change.
In order to race her corvette, she has to elevate the back of the seat cushion and bring the seat way forward so she can fully engage the clutch without disappearing under the dash like a groudhog when she needs to shift.
Since my intention is to have her driving the Elise close to as much as me, I'm going to need to find some way to get the seat forward about another inch, and possibly up in the rear a little.
Since There is no way I would even think of drilling and tapping new holes in the pan, I'm thinking all the modification will need to be done to the rails.
I've looked and I think I have a plan in mind, but thought I'd post up and see if anyone on here also has a little driver they've had to make adjustments of the seat position for. If so, let me know how you did it, and I'll see how that fits with my thoughts.
