Hi all as with most of my cars I thought I’d start a bit of a build thread.

However unlike most cars which I bought and built up to be highly modified the plans for the lotus are quite different and so this will be more thread of its life in my ownership.

I have also created a Facebook page called “Toxic Green S-Cup - (Aka Grogu)” containing images of its progress pre and post purchase.

Build Page Guide

Page 1

  • Pre-purchase Photo‘s
  • First maintenance wash
  • Trip to Brands Hatch, initial sound testing which is passed with ease
  • Schroth Harnesses, Harness bar and OEM Rear tow strap fittings installed
Page 2

  • Photos of the car detailed and put away/SORN for winter
  • Trackday Wheels & out of hibernation
  • Hockey Puck (Jack Pucks) Install and full major service by Back On Track incl new Supercharger Belt & TRD air filter
  • Quick details post 2024 Full major service
  • Full Interior Detail and Exterior Maintenance Wash
  • 2024 - 2025 MOT - Pass
  • Locked away until 2025
  • New Wideband O2 Sensor & Full Hub Dyno Remapping

So here’s the car:

Thanks, yeah they really are something different. For me it was the Exige S2 I really wanted, until I saw my first ever Elise Cup car with the full big aero. As my Exige owning friends say it's the true successor to the Exige S2 and more like a weaponised Exige than an Elise

Beautiful...what I would do to be able to have one in the US😈
You have the 25 year import rule don't you, is that across the whole of the US?

Yesterday as it was supposed to be a nice bright and sunny day I took the car for a spin and decided to go to a really nice photo spot. You used to be able to get over to the planes and do photo's with them, however the landscaping has changed somewhat preventing the same images as I wanted to take. But nonetheless some nice shots of the Cup here, typically it rained both at the photo location and on the way home 😞

Location is the Battle of Britain Memorial - Capel-Le-Ferne

New road tyres went on the other week (Yokohama V105's)

195/50/R1684W - Front

225/45/R1791W - Rear (With correct MO markings as specified by Lotus cars)

The ones on there were the Factory Fitted AD07's which had covered 14.4K miles in total, the rears had 1.8mm and 1.6mm and the fronts still over 4mm and looks brand new (sidewalls etc), however they were rock solid and with manufactured dates of 2014 they had to go as there is no way they were decent still.

2024 - 2025 MOT day and passed as expected

Typically as per a standard summer it rained as soon as I got the car out and both whilst driving too and from the MOT station, the only time it was dry was whilst it was inside...

Some of these show how low the oem setup is against a standard curb and whilst on the MOT brake test.
