I seem to have a proto? I have a 2 as the 13th digit... is this normal?

 

The 13th place now seems to be used to denote transmission type 1-6sp, 2 Auto

 

10th digit:
Model Year (September prior year to August)
F=2015
G=2016 (no cars in US...)
H=2017
J=2018

 

Nothing set on date range of model year. Car may be built in June of 2011 as a 2012 model. What the code signifies is the year of government regulations that the car is built to. I understand that Lotus right now is skipping 2019 and building some 2020 spec cars.
