Some of you may remember the 49 recreation I was working on a few years ago. Like most, life got in the way of the project and although I have made some progress, I am still a long way away from completing it.

I did just finish another car and I hope it's okay to post this picture, if not I will take it down. This is the latest and I also have another, a 250 SWB that I'm about halfway through with.

It's been done. Lotus 38 replica, full monocoque with a 5L Ford V8. Built from scratch by Ben Beames. He also built a full tub Ford GT40 of his own.

The Gurney tribute is a semi monocoque, built to replicate the first Eagle, which was a Coventry Climax 4 cylinder. The car is scratch built, and I'm putting the finishing touches on it, such as a rear engine cover. Here are a couple more pics.
