Interesting. Personally I don't care for the paint scheme. I would guess it will fetch about 65-70g's. Lets see how accurate we are!!

barrett-jackson2005 LOTUS ELISE

This exciting new 2005 Lotus Elise is a special one off creation that will debut at the Los Angeles Internation Show with Bespoke interior designed and executed at the factory in Norwich, UK and special paint scheme, this rare Elise stands alone as the one and only Barrett-Jackson edition to be sold at the "Worlds Greatest Car Auction" in January 2005.

I will be interested to see it at the auto show. I like the body color, but the blue wheels, dark blue on the hood and quilted leather don't look so good to me.

It is one of a kind, so it may exceed $70 K at auction.

[some people are buying chrome orange, so there is no accounting for taste] ;)

I know where you can get a standard Elise for $58K from the dealer.
You have your choice of Yellow or Green.
Park Place Ltd. in Bellevue, Wa.
I really wish I had taken a picture of the window stickers :)

As for the Barrett Jackson... If I had my choice between *IT* and an Aztec Bronze... I'm not sure I could make a decision.

Everything about that color scheme is fugly. Quilted leather? I don't know if I should sit on it or wipe my ass with it?
oh, come now...those seats aren't that bad. :p

those of us who will be lucky enough to see it in person at the LAAS can voice your opinions personally.

Maybe I'm too young to appreciate the necessity of visual reminders as to what kind of car I'm driving. The over abundance of Elise and Lotus stickers really detract from the car's lines. It reminds me of the Chysler Conquest from the mid-1980's. It wouldn't let you forget that the car had a "Turbo".

you guys are right, it does look photoshopped!

i mean really the poor car (itself) has to drive down the street looking like that? how embarrassing for the car....

it's probably thinking "i'm a Lotus, why cheapen me up like this?? all my brothers and sisters are cool and perfect looking as stock elises!!! booo hooo"

no accounting for taste is there?
