I've seen multiple colors on 280 between 92 and redwood city.. not too recently though. My guess is... since they don't have a test track (I assume they don't), they take them for a quick spin on 280

 

Dark gray (graphite gray?) 101S in palo alto traffic in late morning commute

Haven't seen that color yet, very nice

 

Saw four this weekend, orange HWY 1 Santa Cruz on Sat, orange in Los Gatos on Sun, blue and orange this AM going up HWY 84 in Woodside. Look pretty good on the road but don't sound like much....

Spotted a Tesla...on TV tonight. The local news did a test drive and profile on Teslas and of course it was by a seriously inept reporter. Only $109k, get yours now!!!!!

Spotted a blue Tesla today.

South bound El Camino in Redwood City about 6:50pm.

I find it interesting CA hasnt allowed them in the carpool lane. I flew by him while he sat there in stop&go. Maybe if Arnolds wife is really getting one (?) he will be pressed to make it happen -poke-

 

They are allowed and get special stickers. They take forever and some of the owners don't want to put 3 huge ugly stickers on their sports car. That was the feedback I heard while working there.

 

The orange one was probably VP13 (the last validation prototype). They have 34k miles on it and people are being told to keep adding up the mileage.

 

Traffic would have to be REALLY bad for me to consider those ugly stickers on a car, unless it was a beater.

 

Heh, clash of the sports car enthusiast vs. the enviromental enthusiast...it all comes down to stickers. rotfl

 

Those stickers save me 25-35 min a day of sitting in traffic... they are much more than just ugly stickers!

 

Clint Eastwood was talking about the Tesla the other day. He probably owns one.

 

Saw a red and a blue one at Alice's in woodside today

 

Say an orange one on Olympic a week ago.

 

Found a Tesla in a parking lot in Sunnyvale a few buildings away from my workplace.

Saw one a few days ago in Rocklin (East of Sacramento) in my neighborhood. I was out of the car talking to a friend when we saw it pull stealthily away at a nearby stop then, a few minutes later, drove through the same stop again. I'll try to track him down for a chat. Trouble is you don't hear them coming, especially now I am almost deaf from my Lotus.

 

I saw a blue one with a child seat parked at the Microsoft office in Mountain View a few months ago.
