went ahead and ordered my "Certificate of Vehicle Provenance" from the Lotus archives.

Interesting thing is that is list my car as 113 out of 285 Evora NA -eek-
for MY11 for USA market
I thought there were closer to 700 Evoras produced for MY11 in the USA?
This would make our cars much much more rare than I originally thought they were.:coolnana:
Lamborghini has already produced 1000 Aventadors and more than 10000 Gallardos.:p

Andy was great to deal with and the document is awesome!
Have to agree. Totally recommend.

I believe there were about 75 MY11 Evora S versions shipped to the US. Very rare indeed.

Abe, can you confirm?

I just dropped off both my certificate and letter today at a trophy place who will be mounting them both on a black plaque. Should take a week and about $50. My wife thinks I'm nuts (so what else is new) but I figure if you got them, you might as well display them.

It will still cost ya. Paper is free. It's the info that will cost you.

I called Andy at Lotus the other day to order my cert. Another guy answered the phone (didn't catch his name). When I asked for Andy and explained what I wanted he laughed and said Andy was already "down in the archives" and "it's going to be quite some time". I think he's a bit overwhelmed by the sudden influx of cert requests due to this thread :D

As Chiro said, we're really paying for the labor of assembling the information.

Just noticed this thread. I had lunch with Andy last December and here's an actual photo of him in the archives:

What a great guy. Actually, everyone we met at Lotus was incredibly warm, except for Bahar who walked by us 8 times while filming for the Esprit S1 documentary project and never even said "Hi". Just glared at us like we were toxic. I was waiting on my MY12 Evora S at the time, special order in Burnt Orange, and Andy gave me an orange Matchbox Evora to give my son to hold over his enthusiasm. A really great guy. I also find it hilarious that he drives...a Bullitt Edition Mustang!

Email exchange I had with Andy about a hour after posting the thread:D

Wish I could get people to buy the car this easy.
Great document to have.

Dear Andrew,

I have had about half dozen enquiries today, so thanks.

Andy

Received my certificate of provenance yesterday. Thank you. I posted a copy on the Lotus Talk forum. Hopefully you will get some additional Lotus owners to request a copy for their cars.

Thank You again
Andrew

Someone explain this to me:
It says the car is 4 of 9 with Carbon Grey with black and graphite trim.
Then it says the car is 1 of 2 with Carbon Grey with black and graphite trim with the same options including Black Package.
As I read this, I thought 9 Carbon Grey Black Packages and 2 with the options listed. But then the certificate special mention states 1 of 2 Carbon Grey 2011 Evoras Bicolor Models.

So are there 2 or 9 Carbon Grey with Black Packages?

I just received my Certificate of Provence documents from Lotus. This is a great addition to my cars history and birth! I found out from the document that there are 18 cars in the US with titanium Storm Paint choice, and it is one of two Evoras with all the same options. Thank you all for providing the link to apply for this certificate. My feeling is the dealer should have purchased this for us in the first place!
