I’ll add a bit to the picture party. My lights are for an Evora, for reference. I don’t have the V4 installed yet, but I will get that done this weekend and continue the comparison between the V3 and the V4. For now, I figured I’d add some generational pictures to show off the differences. For those wondering, V3 and V4 lights are the same thickness, which is to say they protrude the same amount from the back of the car. The V2 and stock lights are a slightly lower height by comparison.

There is a notable difference to the visual texture of the V4, but keep in mind this is a diffuser ring on the inside of the light so it is still smooth to the touch. The V4 outer ring is now much more translucent from the side in comparison to the V3.

Should have some soon, just waiting on our initial sets to be delivered and installed.
I have a suggestion. I know you had an option for red turn signals. Would it be possible to have the signals show red during braking in addition to the outer ring? And then flash orange when using the turn signal?

I dont know thats something we would want to dive into, it opens a can of worms with more options, causes things to take longer etc etc.
The brightness level with these updated lights should be more than adequate imo.

Thank you for the comparison shots!
You are spot in with your comments about the inner workings of the new light --- its more of a projector vs a diffuser now so its more translucent.
Similar to how some newer oem taillights work from Porsche, BMW etc.

I know you guys can see these videos on Greg's website now, but if you haven't been checking, here are two videos I was able to take with help from a friend. Both videos are taken in direct sunlight where I made sure the sun was at the back of the car for a worst case scenario for visibility. You can see how they compare against the stock lights and as a complete set. My friend said that the GRP V4's were more visible than the OEM LED's.

@GregsRaceParts When will these be orderable?
There is currently a wait list for the lights.
To order please sign up via the red pop up bar on the the appropriate product page on our website or send us an email, we will add you to that list and notify you as soon as we reach your spot in line. If you have already signed up there is no need to do so again, we are working our way down the list!

Doing it this way to keep it more of a first come first serve type scenario vs before when they would sell out in an hour and some guys didnt get a fair chance to order because of time zones etc etc.

I can vouch for Greg's sign-up and waitlist idea. I signed up pretty early (I think) as I was going to buy the V3s and went to order and they were gone, with the "coming soon" V4 up on the site. I received an e-mail from him that my slot came up on Thursday. He was very quick to respond to my questions about the relay and reflector option. He created the order on the web site for me and all I had to do was click and add payment info. Can't wait for them to get here!

My turn for some pics :D.

As usual, Greg does not disappoint! Very happy with GRP's V4s. They are certainly brighter in the sun. More so to the naked eye than in my crappy photos. (Note that my CHMSL, although DOT approved, is not from Lotus and sits in a custom fabricated deck mount.)

Here's a few shots to compare on my car:

Brakes on: V3 on LEFT V4 on RIGHT

Brakes and Hazards on: V3 on LEFT V4 on RIGHT

Side by side brakes: V3 on LEFT V4 on RIGHT
(NOTE: photo doesn't really show brighter V4 well but to they eye they certainly are brighter)

Thank you Greg!(y)(y)

So I take it if you just got V3's then it is a small move up to the V4's and possibly a time to wait?
Correct, we are going down the list and a semi generic email will get sent once we hit your spot in line.
We will verify those who have purchased V3's prior and apply a discount to the order as well.
If you have not done so already you can add yourself to the list at the link above.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions!

Just got my V4's installed on my Evora GT. Photos comparing left side V4 with right side V3. Unfortunately kinda overcast today, so I don't have any photos in bright sunlight yet. While I liked the look of the diffused light of the V3's the V4 is substantially brighter, especially the "brake" element, and bonus is the projected light in the V4 is a better match to the OEM 3rd brake light. Also a youtube video after both V4's were installed linked here:
