i just cleared some pms.someone tried to pm me but the box was full.one thing i would like to add.im going to hold these prices for the first 5.there may be a chance the price will go up after these 5 are built.i just wont know for sure tell i build some.
Any chance youre going to put up pics of yours, body-colored painted, in the near future? If there were spaces left on your list, I'd add my name after seeing the end result...

The plan for mine was to match the rest of my Aero bits which are all a Satin/Matte black especially because I car repair and paint myself from the inevitable damage from highway or track debris.

Looks amazing!

What's the ground clearance. I like many other folks have the ForcedFed front splitter and have had a few scrapes - I'm wondering how much farther it sticks out from the front of the car - and how much lower it sits to the ground.

Oh - and of course what's the CF version weigh? (of course)

the splitter sticks out 2 1/2 inches from the plinth.then 3 1/2 inches around to the edges.i backed my car off the ryno ramps the other day.it got within the last inch of the ramp before touching the lip.my car is also lowered to 118mm front ride height.so i thought that was pretty good.

stay tuned for the weight.that will be coming when the first carbon one pops from the moulds.i can say they will be light though.using over expanded core is for sure the way to go.you end up with a very strong light part.

i really would like to make an exige version.the bottom section will work fine.i just need access to an exige for a bit of test fitting.i need to create the top side to work with the exige.i have also been looking for an exige front clam.of course when i really need one, there are none for sale used.
I'd be in for the CF Exige version when its available. I'd even let you use my car if I were closer. Certainly there's a really nice Exige owner in the area... This is a great looking piece.

Great work! Any pics of the underside?
Do you have the ability to have these painted, even just flat black? If not, are the e glass versions going to be primered, ready for paint?
there is a pic of the bottom side in the first post.i have more on the car i can post later when i have more time.as far as painting.i could spray the glass ones with some high build primer.the body shop that paints it would then block that down and paint.im not sure i want to get involved with matching lotus colors.my car was tough to get right(polarblue)i could paint some in semi gloss black for a small fee.

I'd also be interested in one for the Exige.

Is the under tray larger than stock to add more close off in the suspension area? Would be nice to see the stock under tray outlined on your new version to show this.

yes,the under tray portion is much larger.i will take a pic with the stock under tray laying on the splitter bottom.i didnt think to do this before.that will show the difference.there will also be 2 pieces that come in from each side to further close out the rear of the front suspension to the main splitter bottom.

Cool. so 2-1/2 forward of the plinth, 3-1/2 inches around the edges.

So 118mm (4.64") is the splitter ground clearance you have? (after you lowered the car)

Ah what the hell - IN for CF.

Looking forward to discovering weights (including deltas from removing / replacing the front under access panel).

Danke!

alright, thanks.the ride height i mentioned was from my last setup i did.it was measured from just behind the front wheel.i dont use the lotus ride height measuring locations.anyway i didnt measure the height of the splitter with the car set down.next time i have it on the car.ill measure it.my car has a bit of rake in it.so it could be a bit lower out at the front of the splitter.

im also looking forward to seeing the weight difference.the splitter will be a bit more over the weight of the stock under tray.but it will be very useful weight.i still have base wheels.so i will buy that back when they are swapped out.

Id be in for an Exige one too. Carbon or Fiber

alright,i guess i better make a plan to finish the exige splitter then.if anyone knows of a slightly damaged exige front clam, let me know.that would be the best solution for me.i know ssc and some of the other lotus body shops usually have stacks of them laying around.
