Ok that was two days ago he was banned at that time. Thanks for reporting but it needs to be reported as it happens. The others who reported it brought it to our attention and he was immediately banned. Thanks everyone for your reports it helps keep the spammers off.

This guy tries it a lot. Even on FB pages.

He would even send photos of the part. If you reverse google image it would be from an old LT forsale add.
So hes a little tricky.

Although he was adamant that the Larini valved muffler would fit my Evija. It actually just came off his friends Evija so thats how he knows.
Bwahahahaha

On the AutoGuide forum where I moderate, the admins posted this information when we complained of the number of spammers:

Adminsupport said:
We have made changes to the Approval Queue spam filter, but as soon as we implement a change, they change their tactic. The fast way to kill the spam is to flag it as spam as soon as possible. By flagging accounts and posts as spam, this will automatically be reported to StopForumSpam which will in turn flag any other attempts. This applies to all our sites. The more sites that flag the spam, the faster they are flagged in the approval queue and are prevented from making it into the site.

We are working on changes to automatically decline high risk users and positive flags so that they never even make it to the approval queue in the first place. This will take some time to finish implementing and it will need some tweaks until it is able to catch most of the spam, but this has been high on our list.

Probably yet another scammer From my WTB post for a muffler I received this post: Contact rosiemitchell876@gmail.com He/she Joined 22 minutes ago.
And just cause I like to play with these creeps I sent this email: "Hi You have a muffler for sale. Please provide details of it. Thanks" And his reply "yes" And it gets better, asked for more detail he provides this answer:
It is sold at 15o$ but you will have to pay a 100$ so after the shipping you will pay the remaining 50$,and it will get to you in 4hours

Hi I just got another reply via email for my WTB

"Steven009 started a new conversation with you at Stock Exige S muffler

I think i saw a guy called William posted a Stock Exige S muffler for sale. Here is his email. williambenson1112@gmail.com He's in Missouri.."

There was a link for the conversation but it was a dead end and Steven009 does not exist. Persistent dogs!

Got him earlier! Thanks for reporting!

@velociraptor @shay2nak thanks for reporting but what really helps if it's reported within minutes of receiving it as that is when they are loading up on who they want to pm and then they start sending PM's and that is the point that I have been catching them.

Got an email about a conversation in lotustalk that amounted to nothing. I clicked on the link for the user and did a search and nothing turned up. Things got weird when I saw this...

Can you use cashapp as payment method

I honestly can't say for sure if this was a scam but it was very fishy.

Hi Everyone,
I have a pair of Probax Elise seats listed now for sale. I was contacted by a buyer that goes by OmarP. He joined LT 23 days ago. He doesn’t sound legit.

This morning he informs he will pay sales price via PayPal. I am concerned he could send payment but when I go to collect the payment there is a problem. Or I ship the seats and he claims he never received them.

Does anyone have any advice/ info about this? It sounds very iffy to me.

Thanks

You can verify when the funds are deposited in your PP account. A package of that size/weight will require a shipping company that will produce a Tracking #. Of course nobody is forcing you to sell to anyone you don't want to... GLWS
