My friend needs V8 mechanic to fix spun rod bearing, Florida or...? May be able to ship the engine separately.

I posted this earlier in the thread. Not sure if he works on V8

How about Bacchus AKA European Performance in Hollywood Fl.

No personal experience but the PO for my car had loads of work completed there.

I think Murray Bacchus had a good rep - perhaps somebody can vouch.

Glenn's specializes in older British vehicle restoration, not just repair. You might want to check on the newer models. James, his Lotus mechanic, previously worked in Orlando and has been with Glenn for over 10 years.

Fixed the Code 26 of my 89 Esprit by bring in an identical esprit and tested wire by wire. Found a bad plug AND a bad wire. Call Derek 972-620-7285. Will be upgrading brakes, shocks, electrics in near future.

I'd be really curious to know about others' experience with Claudius - it seems like their whole shop is dedicated to Esprits and that they know all the platforms well and that they're willing to do mechanical, cosmetic and electrical in house... but I've never had a car serviced there, so I can't speak to their work and would love to know!

Ok....so I had Claudius do a some work on my 1990 Esprit SE. Installed new steering wheel, shifter, blow-off valve, convert to a straight pipe exhaust, and regular maintenance work. I always thought they did a great job. Now - this was all way back around 2002-2004...so I can't say anything about the last 20 years!

Claudius worked on my S4s about 3 years ago. They installed my aluminum coolant expansion tank and electric chargecooler pump.
All went fine. Pretty pricey but where do go? Pretty limited.

any more info on "Claudius" location, contact info. I'm new to Lotus ownership and in the North East (Connecticut). Hoping to find a good and affordable mechanic for my Esprit but will settle for just good.
