Dino is Bryan with a "Y".

The Brian with an "I" previously mentioned is no longer working with Gator Motorsport.

Owner in Texas is looking for shop/mechanic to work on 85 Turbo w/carbs.
Needs engine out service and gas tanks. General maintenance from sitting.

This thread's original post listed contact info for 9 shops. A year and a half, and 47 messages later, it's a long read through three pages to see if there's a shop near you... and the original nine don't appear to have been updated.

I'm not a regular on LotusTalk, so I don't know the ropes. But is it possible to link a file to this thread (Word, Excel, something) that participants can access and add to. Anyone who posts another contact can also add that info to the downloadable master file... subject to moderator approval. And the shops that are listed could also access the file to update/ correct their contact info. Like the recent update from Gator. Instead of just being messages #44, 45 & 46, it could also be a correct and up to date entry in a directory.

Even if the file isn't downloadable, being one-click accessible without having to read through 3 pages of discussion would be very helpful.

Lotus, Ltd has you covered with their Technical Assistance Network. Just keep the Roster on-hand and no matter what USA/Canada ZIP code you travel in, there is help nearby.

I have responded to several calls over the years.

Barry is a former Lotus Hethel employee, emigrated to the US to work at Jim Loose Imported Cars in Palo Alto in 1982 or so.
He is highly conversant in Seven, Elan, Europa, all Elites, Eclats, and Esprits...
He is doing a beautiful job restoring my 67 Elan.

Other shops send Barry their Esprit transaxles for inspection and servicing.
