I think to qualify as a "Lotus" shop, it should be known if they have a Tech 1 at a minimum. Hard to do any serious service work on the later cars without it.

I would agree that to be an "Esprit Shop", you need a Tech 1. Exotic Speed Shop in Ontario California does have Tech 1.

That's easy....Gonzo at Exotic Speed Shop. He freshened up my gearbox and installed my Emco kit along with some of his new machined replacement syncros. Shifts better than it ever did before.

Very happy with his work and Lotus support in general.

I've never taken a car to Ziegler's before, but I did spend quite a bit of time there when I was looking at purchasing an Esprit that he had been working on. I can say that he seemed absolutely top notch, very knowledgeable. Nice guy, too. He took quite a bit of time to go on a test drive of an Esprit with me, and he wasn't earning anything from the sale.
